As a teaching assistant John McMordie was a gentle but powerful force in the Product Realization Lab. In the top 5% of his class, John was named a Terman Scholar. After he passed away just before returning to campus for his second graduate year in 2016, this award was created to honor him, and those that best emulate his wonderful spirit.
This year’s winner is also an amazing teacher, listener, AND observer of human nature.
Always willing to help, a creative thinker who represents the very best of the PRL teaching staff.
